Installation questions

How do I enable it on my Mac?

Allow Accessibility so ToneBird can recognize reply fields.

  1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
  2. Enable ToneBird.
  3. Reopen the app if macOS asks you to.
Why can’t I see the ToneBird bubble?

Check these three things:

  1. ToneBird is running.
  2. On a Mac, Accessibility is enabled.
  3. You have clicked inside a readable reply field.

If macOS asks you to reopen ToneBird after granting permission, do that first.

How do I choose and edit a reply?
  1. Click your reply box, then the ToneBird bubble.
  2. Choose one of the three drafts. Use Tweak to edit it.
  3. Use Insert to put it in your reply box.

Review the message, then send it from your app.

Does ToneBird send messages for me?

No. Insert places the draft in your reply box. It does not send it.

You review the message and use your app’s own send button.
