Yes. ToneBird works beside supported email reply fields, so you don't need to paste the thread into another AI chatbot. Compare suggestions, use Tweak if needed, then Insert the wording into your reply box. You review and send it yourself.

Yes. Open the draft in your email app and tell ToneBird what you want to change, such as making it more professional or less abrupt. Compare the suggestions, use Tweak if needed, then Insert the version you want. Check that your facts, requests and deadlines still match what you meant.
Can it use who I am emailing and my writing style?
Yes. ToneBird can use saved relationship context from Circle and your preferences in Me. A reply to a familiar client can be more direct than an introduction to someone new. Review the draft for the person and situation.

This page shows ToneBird’s desktop email workflow. Download ToneBird for Mac or Windows to try it. The Free plan includes 15 uses every day. This page does not submit your email to an online generator.
Can ToneBird help me start a new conversation?
Yes. Give ToneBird the person and the context for your opening message, compare the drafts and adjust the wording. Insert the opening into your message field, then review and send it yourself.
Can my own files guide a reply?
In Me, open Context to import a text document or add background notes. ToneBird can use relevant saved sections, such as agreed terms or meeting details, to help draft the answer. Import an updated copy when the document changes, and check important facts before sending.
Does ToneBird add meetings automatically?
No. After a time is agreed in your conversation, ToneBird can prepare an event for Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. You check the details and confirm before the event is added.
Which apps can I use it in?
ToneBird works beside readable reply fields in apps such as Gmail, Slack, WhatsApp, iMessage, Discord, WeChat, Lark, and X.
Support depends on the app and the field you are typing in. Some fields may not be readable.
How do I enable it on my Mac?
Allow Accessibility so ToneBird can recognize reply fields.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
- Enable ToneBird.
- Reopen the app if macOS asks you to.
Can my conversation reach an AI provider?
Yes. The model provider receives the context and instructions needed for your reply.
With a managed model, ToneBird forwards the request. With your own model key, writing requests go directly to that provider. See providers and data handling.
